Dusty came on board our staff in August 2004, when her youngest child started kindergarten. She wanted to get back into a career that was fulfilling to her and not “just work”. She has been a great asset to Valley Creek Veterinary Hospital over the years and has enjoyed learning about patient care and treatment. She is an excellent assistant and most everyone who comes in asks to speak to her when they have a question (sometimes even before they want to speak to the doctor).
Dusty has many pets including dogs, cats, and horses. She loves many types of dogs but is very fond of Dobermans, Boston Terriers and bulldog breeds. She has been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator with the Department of Conservation for 8 years and has rehabilitated raccoons, deer and a few other furry friends. She has safely introduced and released over 9 animals into the wild. She enjoys riding horses with her friends and family.
